From the Woods to the Farm — My Story
I didn’t grow up farming — just a deep passion for the woods and a life spent close to nature. What started with a few pigs and a dream has grown into Streeter Heritage Farms, a farrow-to-finish heritage hog operation focused on raising animals in the forest and on pasture while reconnecting people with where their food comes from.
The journey hasn’t been a straight line. I’ve faced setbacks, rebuilt from the ground up, and learned firsthand what resilience, leadership, and staying true to your values really means. Today, our farm supplies families, restaurants, and communities across the East Coast, and I’ve been honored as South Carolina Farmer of the Year and Swine Farmer of the Year.
When I speak, I don’t share theory — I share real lessons from agriculture, entrepreneurship, conservation, and a life shaped by the outdoors. My goal is simple: to encourage people to think differently, stay grounded in what matters, and build a life they’re proud of.
